It appears our resident Marxist party is a little annoyed these days.
During a speech on September 19th, Somawansa Amarasinghe referred to the SLFP as a whore. He used a longer term ("members of the world's oldest profession") but essentially he called the party a whore.
In response, Maithripala Sirisena issued a series of barbs that included a very emphatic "BAMBUWA". (Read the full story at Lanka Newspapers )
Good stuff....but not as great as the CMC guti bata huvamaruva (exchange of blows) :
