Video of Seetha Handakare by Ajith Bandara

I have no words to describe what I think of this video. None what so ever. Nada. I hope Shihan Mihiranga comes up with something a lot better than the above.

Looks like Ajith is having a good time in the video. All the music videos on the chart shows look the same anyway.

I got a tatal shock. Was disgusting. I'm from mawathgama myself and he was another kid on the block. It is to his gamekama that people voted.
This is what happnes when a person who has no proper background is given things. IN sinhala they say katussage kare ranbenda wage.
feel sorry for his wife

It's bad because there is nothing artistic about it. And the images are not relevant to the lyrics of the song in any way.

Give us a better one next time, Ajith!

I think Ajith is a big mistake guys....he copied Priya's voice and won the contest. I am a music teacher by profession and I really don't see any talent in him. In our times real talented ppl (Jothi, Victor, Milton, Priya etc)got popular from their inborn talent...they didn't need TV shows or mass scale publicity. Sirasa did a great thing by starting this contest, but these people really don't deserve a superstar title.
This video is disguting.

I agree with what the above person said. Ajith Bandara has no talent, If he had he should have been popular with his own songs. Although he has his songs he does sing ONLY PRIYA SURIYASENA's songs show that its was the popularity of Priya's songs brought him here.He should stop singing them now because no one can ever be another Priya Suriyasena!

Just want to clarrify one thing.... i was in SL when the final took place but was not there when it started... is it true that applicants were specified that they should be single? coz Ajith was not and there was a newspaper letter which said he hid the fact that he was married.....would b nice if anyone can tell me....

I don't know what the rules of the contest were at the time it started. What I do know is that each of the top twelve singers were profiled in detail and clips of their homes and families were shown. It's very unlikely that a singing contest required the contestants to be single. However Ajith's marital status was never discussed nor was his wife shown. The fact that he lives in poverty was drilled into the viewers' heads on a number of occasions but that was it.

When asked about his family, he spoke about his mother quite a lot. I don't get why he had to hide the fact he was married unless Sirasa wanted him to get "sympathy" votes from its female audience.
